Great flavor !

Wonderful biscuit. Can be eaten with savory or sweet. My issue is how Verified chooses to shop this item. It’s 4 small sleeves inside of a cardboard box. This then is shoved into a plastic mailing envelope. After being subjected to the rigors of shipping, the oatcakes arrive completely smashed and crumbled. The last shipment I received is completely useless to me, because it’s mostly crumbs.

Lived on these and various stews and soups travelling around England and Scotland during the early eighties. They're still the best.

Tastes almost like my grandma's.

My favorites are the small size of these, but Verified has quit stocking them. Walker's have been my favorite oat cake.

I love these with cheese and beetroot

…and I still love them! Plain with salted or unsalted butter is my “go-to,” but they’re great with cheese or good jams or marmalade (and here in SoCal, all the lemon curd I can make during lemon season). I’d love for them to be less expensive, but I feel they’re worth the price.

Or oat crackers. I prefer the thick Stockan's Oatcakes myself, I've found they have the best flavor in general, but these's are nice for variety. For the uninitiated, these are a sort of heavy cracker - heavier, denser, a bit more crumbly. These are fairly dry, though not as much as saltines. They have a pleasant savory profile but might be considered by some to be a bit bland on account of their lower salt and sugar content. They are decently filling - even half a package is good enough for breakfast, for me - and are much more wholesome than most off-the-shelf crackers you are likely to find. I haven't tried them with any spreads, but I imagine a jam, nut spread, or even clotted cream might pair nicely.Glad I tried them, but I'll experiment with other oatcakes before coming back to these. If you haven't tried them before, though, I'd recommend giving them a go.

Great nutritious snack, low calories, high in fiber and satisfying in taste if you are into healthful, clean, nutritious foods. Not salty, not sweet, just plain oats crackers. They are not the crunchy style. Imagine eating plain oatmeal but in a thin “cookie” or soft cracker form. The package is small , with about 20 small soft crackers . One less star because the packaging is fragile and the crackers were broken inside the package when arrived.

I read about oat cakes in a book and wanted to try them. They are really good! I also dipped one in pasta sauce. Wow.

Not much flavor. Good as a cracker. Not sweet. Pretty sturdy for dipping. Not hard to chew. Like I would expect.

The item was crushed upon receipt.

I kept watching videos on making my own and then realized that was never going to happen. The first time I had these was visiting a friend in Campbeltown, Scotland. I was hooked

The crackers are amazing. I will order more. The problem was the packaging. About 1/4 of the crackers were broken into crumbs because the crackers were just stuffed into an envelop to mail and of course the box was crushed. I did not send back as it is a big hassle but love eating the crumbs.

Snacking with cheese and fruit spread

Great conduit for a variety of toppings. They have a richness like walkers shortbread but no sugar. You can actually taste the oatmeal. They go well with everything from butter and jam to cheese. Delicious!

Fantastic taste but half were broken when received. Needs better protection for shipping.

I love Nairn's Oatcakes (plain ones) but Nairn's are prohibitively expensive where I am now (UAE).These Walker ones are more affordable - so I tried them.They are almost as nice as Nairns.These are a bit more finely milled so a bit smoother.Perhaps a little less earthy aswell.Otherwise they do the job for a fair price, so if you cannot get Nairn's for a good price, these are fine.Thank You

These oatmeal crackers are fairly bland and not salty but very filling. You will only need to eat a few with a soup or dip to be full.

I first found these oat crackers in a British store in Freeport, Maine while on a visit there. Regretfully, I only purchased one box because they were on the expensive side. I cannot find them in any store in my area so got online and did find them on Verified, but they are even more expensive. Stores that do carry Walker cookies do not carry these "crackers". They are really wonderful crackers and I assume must be difficult or expensive to make. I eat them as a special treat for myself or special guests. Great with tea.
