Very happy using this flour to make and bake bread.

This flour is so different to any I have tasted before . The colour , creamy, is different, the texture, slightly spongy, is delicious. I used a very very familiar recipe and the total taste makes me think I can never go back to supermarket bread. Or indeed home made bread made with regular flour.

I made a loaf of bread with the Organic Strong Flour...and my daughter says it's the best she ever tasted, and her co-workers are all after me for the recipe. They love the texture of the bread....soft, but chewy and not at all crumbly. And the "rise" is superior!!

The flour is great, with good protein %. However, I received this on 10/07/24. I was dismayed when I saw the expiration date is 11/19/24, just a little over a month! I don't bake every day and I usually only bake one loaf at a time. This was supposed to be my backup bag, in case I ran out of what is in my container, but I'm thinking I may have to use it before then. So, check that expiration date when you receive this.

One of the bags of flour was torn open the 2nd bag was fine and I was able to use 2nd bag.

Used the flour to make my sourdough bread. There is only one store I know that sells doves flour in my area and that is a bus ride away, so happy that Verified sells it .

I purchased this flour because I bought several books written by Paul Hollywood of “The Great British Baking show” fame, and I wanted to use the flour in his ingredients list. I tried substituting American bread flour, but I was not impressed with the result. So, I ordered strong flour from England, because that’s what he called for. The difference was huge. Now, I’m buying this flour because I love working with it, and all my breads taste great!

My order was delivered on time, but I was surprised to find one of the bags of flour had burst & split in half. I saved what I could & have used it to make bread in my bread maker, which turned out very good. I have just found that I have had a refund which was much appreciated. I was surprised that I did not have a notification of my complaint so the refund was a very unexpected & a pleasant surprise. So thank you very much to all concernedI find the flour very good for bread making & can highly recommend it. I shall be buying more when I need it.
