I've never made a traditional Christmas pudding before. How should I prepare one from your collection?

No worries if this is your first time! Most of our traditional British Christmas puddings are ready to heat and serve, but to get that authentic taste, we recommend steaming or microwaving them according to the package instructions. For a truly classic preparation, steaming it for an hour or so after soaking it in a bit of festive tipple like brandy or rum will elevate the flavour beautifully before serving with brandy butter or cream.

What are the storage instructions for these Christmas puddings and desserts before the big day?

To keep your traditional British Christmas treats tasting their best, store them in a cool, dry place, just like you would any other festive delicacy. Once opened, or if you plan to use them well in advance, pop any leftovers or unopened puddings in the refrigerator and ensure they are tightly sealed. Check the individual product packaging for specific best-before dates to ensure peak freshness for your Christmas feast.

Christmas Puddings/Desserts

Christmas pudding is a dark, steamed pudding of dried fruit and spices, matured for months and reheated on the day - traditionally served with brandy butter or cream. Mince pies are the small sweet pastries that go beside it, filled with spiced mincemeat rather than meat. Neither is easy to find in an American supermarket, which is why this collection exists: Matthew Walker, Cole's, Mr Kipling and other British makers, imported directly from the UK and held in stock in our USA warehouse. Puddings keep well, so ordering early costs you nothing and guarantees the size you want.
